Polluted Garments
I sewed a quilt out of rags that took 20+ hours to make. Then I destroyed it in a river. By the time I had finished filming, it was 36° outside; my feet and legs had gone numb, and my hands were cracked and bloody from the freezing water. While water is usually perceived to be a cleansing agent, I used it to transform the quilt I had made into an unusable state.
